The primary three plane arrived on 12 March 1975.[73] In 1988, FAB acquired 22 F-5E and 4 F-5F second-hand USAF “aggressor” fighters. A complete of 15 of those plane have been a part of the preliminary batch of 30 plane produced by Northrop.[74] In 1990, FAB retired all remaining 5 F-5Bs; later, they have been despatched to Brazilian museums across the nation
