The new version of R.E.A.L. modification for Grand Theft Auto 5 allows to pass the game from beginning to end without any visible problems. Although this is not the first attempt of moderators to transfer gameplay to virtual reality, the updated version is the most stable and successful.
The mod supports Oculus and SteamVR helmets, detects them and adjusts the rendering automatically. The author notes that support for WMR and Pimax helmets is not yet fully functional. The new version of the mod has also become much easier to install – just extract the files into the folder with the game and run the game via bat.
The new version also allows you to customize graphics without restarting the game, and on the most powerful PCs it is possible to enable MSAA antialiasing. One important addition is the viewing angle setting, which now allows you to easily view all cat scenes.
