since the ZolikaPatch provides a native steering wheel bone for cars, I started adapting the standard GTA IV cars to this script.
As you know it from my RIV Car Pack mod => All adapted cars have a fully functioning steering wheel, adding “immersion” to the game (which everyone is so keen on having in games these days).
This mod is a WIP => my goal is to adapt all standards cars (GTA IV + TLAD + TBOGT). I will be updating this mod once I’m done.
As of now, the following vehicles have been adapted to have a fully functioning steering wheel:
•
Banshee
•

Additionally, the following cars have been edited by me because I didn’t like their original look (see also the second pic in the overview):
•
Stallion (side mirrors have been moved from the wings to the doors, new front bumper from TLAD Regina, dual exhaust from SabreGT, dual headlights => INSPIRED by AlgonquinHoods Stallion, but NOT STOLEN!)
•
Vigero (side mirrors have been moved from the wings to the doors, vertical bars have been removed from the grille)
•
Police Cruiser (vertical bars have been removed from the grille)
•
Taxi (vertical bars have been removed from the grille)
In order to have this car pack working, you need to fulfill the following requirements:
•
GTA IV 1.0.8.0 (I use a downgraded version of CE on Steam)
•
ZolikaPatch installed (contains the required steering wheel bone)
Credits:
Rockstar Games for the vehicles & parts
Honorable mentions:
Zolika for his ZolikaPatch & steering wheel bone
Algonquin Hood for providing the idea of adding more headlights to the Stallion (which I really built myself, I promise!)
Have fun and enjoy it!
HOW TO INSTALL:
Copy all files into your “GTAIV” Game Directory (“vehicles.img” file & “vehicles.ide” file will be replaced)
REMEMBER: ALWAYS MAKE A BACKUP BEFORE REPLACING FILES!
