The Fokker Dr.I (Dreidecker, “triplane” in German) was a World Warfare I fighter plane constructed by Fokker-Flugzeugwerke. The Dr.I noticed widespread service within the spring of 1918. It turned well-known because the plane by which Manfred von Richthofen, infamously often called the Pink Baron, gained his final 19 victories, and by which he was killed on 21 April 1918.
