The successor to GTA Online, multiplayer Red Dead Redemption 2 – Red Dead Online, is also actively developing. In 2019, the multiplayer came out of beta testing: were optimized management and speed of animation to PvP-battles became more interesting, added “tools to combat dishonest players” (although it does not seem to have helped much), added new lessons in free mode and announced a gang subscription with a separate system of awards.

Several major updates will be released for GTA Online in 2020
