In an interesting bit of history, the PAF once considered acquiring these birds in the 1980’s. The USAF never really saw it as a “fashionable” aircraft but its stellar performance in the Gulf War of 1991 changed all that. Meanwhile, the cash strapped Filipino government opted for the more cheaper and practical OV-10 instead.
