NOTE:
– i have not tested it with other minimap mods such as Boat Radar or DK22Pac’s GPS.
– Yes, i know the minimap is not static when flying a helicopter or a plane, i don’t see any reason as to why you would fly with a static radar. Let me know if you prefer it static or not. I am burnt out from how stupid and frustating it was to make this mod, and so static minimap while flying will not come anytime soon. I have tried to make it static during development but it made the radarRingPlane not visible (see hud.txd to see the texture i’m talking about, it’s located at the very bottom) which means i have to look through tens or hundreds of addresses just to make it visible again. And since i looked through hundreds already, i have had enough of it. You can see in the video that the green rectangle which is supposed to show my altitude is gone from my minimap, it’s a leftover from the development i mentioned. Now, don’t go saying i stole those address just because i didn’t do what sounds like is really easy to do, i found all of those addresses using Cheat Engine just from one address located in Radar.h which is 0xBA8310, i then disassembled near that address and continued from there on. Day 1, i spent the whole afternoon trying to figure out why the minimap resets when looking left/right/behind. Day 2, i once again spent the whole afternoon, trying to figure out why the player arrow disappears when looking left/right/behind. Day 3, finally figured out why the player arrow disappears and night of release.
