Germany, 1945. All hopes of victory for the third Reich disappear … And the last efforts to win are the Volkssturm (storm of the people) was a militia recruited to defend German cities like Berlin, Konigsberg, and Breslau .. . He had a red and black armband on his left arm with the words in the center “Deutscher Volkssturm Wehrmacht” due to his little training and his worse equipment compared to the Wehrmacht and the Waffen SS were surpassed by their enemies, despite have more than 6 million militiamen (most of them were senior citizens and some WW1 veterans) … Their main weaponry was reused from WW1 and with their most frequent weapon the Panzerfaust … The fall of the third Reich was inevitable taking away many German soldiers including the Volkssturm …
