You know what saddens me the most other than a political change both identity-wise and mentally with a bowl of plain ice cream without flavor I’m pigging out? It’s definitely NFL and the death of John Madden. Ever since I bought Madden NFL 19 for the first time on PC, it was a hell of a dream come true for me to ever play a sports game of some kind like this due to the emergence and advent of PC Gaming that made every games’ announcement for a port made into the sight of fruition years later. And it’s quite exhilarating and anticipating, dontcha think?
Now let’s talk about John Madden. Where the hellraising shit do we even begin… EA has made the worst mistake after mistake, after mistake, after mistake when they decided to posthumously cover him in the recent game with such polarizing reception I have never seen before upon release alongside a recently released game, eFootball, a FIFA competitor by Konami, even celebs playing this game aren’t buying no shit due to all this.
And it could be the fact that they wanted to change their work ethic and pretend that developing video games has never been so easy as hell than right now. Looks like the Madden curse has affected more than just the players on covers every year of installment comes; that’s what saddens me that John Madden will never rest in peace for surely tainting his image and his legacy. Fucking Schmucks for also bedevilling capitalism! And come to think of it, FIFA 23, reputed to be the last of the series by EA after the company and FIFA decided to sever ties with each other will either fail or not. That all depends.
