The game is set in 1984, two years before Vice City, so Tommy Vercetti is still in prison.
The main character, as mentioned above, will be Victor Vance, better known as “Vic”. Brother Lance should be familiar to fans of the GTA series, as he plays a key role in the plot of Vice City.
Graphics
The graphics of the game is really amazing, it almost does not seem to be on a handheld console. The game’s polygons have increased significantly since the previous chapter, and loading times have been reduced.
The amount of pedestrians has been increased, but also the vehicles and objects, especially the vegetation. It ‘was also improved and enhanced the graphics of the water, also the weather, also enhanced, will play an important role during the course of the game.
The new animations give a touch of uniqueness, difficult to achieve, to each character.
Game Play
Many Vice City vehicles return in this chapter, such as the Infernus, the Stinger, the Phoenix, the Cuban Hermes or the Comet. But there are also several new features: among the most important are the Jet Ski and the bicycles.
Another novelty is the Ferris wheel in the city center (in its place in the old Vice City there is a construction site under construction, probably opened after the demolition of the same) on which you can climb and on which you can also find other civilians.
Another important novelty in terms of gameplay is the ability to swim, but, much more fun news, the ability to drive the Jet-Ski, also required during certain missions.
Vice City Stories also has several interiors (buildings in which you can also enter inside) of its predecessor Liberty City Stories.
It has not been implemented instead the ability to customize their vehicles in the game (or do not expect it to be on the same floor as San Andreas).
Finally, we will meet several well-known faces already seen in Vice City, such as Lance Vance, Big Mitch Baker, Phil Cassidy, Umberto Robina, Ricardo Diaz and others.
